Download the Discord App on Your Android Phone


  • First, you have to make sure that you are using an Android phone which is using Android version 5 or later.
  • After that, you can open the Google Play Store from your App drawer.
  • Go to the Search bar and Tap on it.
  • Type in Discord and click the magnifying glass to start the search.
  • Tap the Discord app in the search results.
  • You will now be at the home page of the Discord app.
  • Click on the green Install button to start the app’s installation process on your Android phone.
  • Wait for the installation to complete.
  • Now you can directly open the app by clicking on the Open button, where the Install button was, or
  • You can go to the Home Screen of your Android phone to open the app.
  • If for some reason, your phone doesn’t show the app on your home screen, you can find it in the App Drawer of your Android phone.

Creating New Account on Discord Android App


  • Open the Discord app on your Android phone.
  • You will be presented to the Login Screen of the Discord app.
  • Here, you need to click on the option that says “Need an account?”
  • Now you will see a form to start the Sign-Up process.
  • Click on the Username field and type in a username for your account.
  • Then, click on the Email field and enter the email you want to associate with your Discord account.
  • You can use the same email to reset your password in case you forget it in the future.
  • After that, click on the Password field and type a secure password for your account.
  • If you are not sure what password you are typing, click the Eye icon on the right side of the Password field. This will show you the password you are typing and help you remember it correctly.
  • Finally, Tap the Register button to finish the process of creating a new account.

You can now use the username/email and password to log into the Discord app and start using the service with all the different functions. There is also a premium version of the service useful for bigger communities and creators on the platform.

Note: If Discord shows a message to Verify your email address, go to your mailbox and open the email sent by Discord. There will be a Verification Link, Open it. It will complete the verification process of your email id.
